After working 12 hours last night, I climbed off the engine, started torward my car, and zipped my jacket up real quick.
This is the south. Georgia sits right on top of Florida so what’s it doing getting 22 degrees here?
Somebody needs to remind the Man above of this fact.
If I wanted cold, I’d move to Michigan…or worse, Canada, the frozen tundra. I’ve seen that place on the National Geographic channel…it’s all ice.
Hell, I don’t even know what street Canada is on anyway.
Danette tagged me. I don’t normally do these “me-me’s” but today, I have nothing to write about seeing as how it’s only 46 degrees now and I’m afraid the cable outside that gives me internet is about to freeze up.
6 weird things about me:
1. Reese’s Peanutbutter Cups give me heartburn.
2. I have 3 cellphones. One is Verizon and the other 2 are Cingular.
3. I seldom ever drink alcohol. I know, not weird but given my reputation, I thought you bastards folks should know.
4. I absolutely hate water rides at amusement parks.
5. I’m running out shit to write about.
6. I hate “sleeping in” on my off-days. Even when I have nothing to do, I’m ready to get up and get the day started.
That’s it. That was hard work. You owe me Danette.
Trish and I are going to go eat a mexican tonight…I meant going to eat mexican and then it’s off to work I go again.
Ya’ll be safe and keep those private parts bundled up. It’s mighty cold out there.

WOW! I love it when I’m the first commenter on your site! Seems like an impossible feat! You can forget about moving to Michigan…there ain’t enough room here for the both of us! Get it!
Enjoy your mexican…I’m jealous!

Global warming and other ecological devastation leads to all sorts of erratic weather. We have hardly had any winter here in Boston and you’ve had below-freezing temperatures!
January 29, 2007 at 8:32 pm |
Enjoy your meal out tonight with Trish…..and it’s finally up to 18 degrees with a windchill of 13 here in Michigan! Brrrrrr……cold!!!!!
January 29, 2007 at 8:42 pm |
I’m with ya on #6. Otherwise I feel like I’ve wasted the day.
January 29, 2007 at 8:42 pm |
Quite your damn whining for gods sake!!! If its above zero its dang near tropical!
I think you lied to us. I know for a fact your way wierder than that!
January 29, 2007 at 9:09 pm |
Hey, my privates are always bundled up…that’s why I never get any sex.
Sleeping in is good slick! It’s the nectar of the God’s! Where did that come from, I have no idea. Ya, you’re wierd…3 cell phones? Whatsa matter you?
How was the mexican?
January 29, 2007 at 9:45 pm |
You are still warmer than us….it was 2 degrees here last night.
You running out of things to write about??? wow
January 29, 2007 at 10:39 pm |
why do you need 3 cell phones?
January 29, 2007 at 11:27 pm |
Its really cold here too! 21 f this morning when I had to go to work! I hate it, how much further south do I need to freaking move?????
Have fun with the mexican LOL
I dont drink either. Now I am restricted because of all my medications but even before I got sick I never developed a taste for it. Plus, I hate hangovers, mine were always awful even if I drank very little.
You can send me all your Reese’s cups, I can eat them just fine

My nostrils stuck together this morning. That’s how cold it was.
January 30, 2007 at 1:36 am |
22 degrees? That’s IT? I’m sorry I don’t feel bad for you…up here in Michigan it’s 8 degrees. EIGHT!
And you have THREE cell phones WHY???
January 30, 2007 at 3:33 am |
I’m with you, Slick. Cold weather sucks. Especially where you live. You know old people move down there in winter time to get away from it up here. I’m sure they are pissed right now because all of their sweaters are in their “first” home up here in never-neverland.
Hope you and Trish enjoy your Taco Bell. Did you at least buy and share some cinnimon sticks? I know how you love your cinnimon-flavored goodies.

It’s been cold here too. The yard at the old place froze and killed the top half of every plant/tree/bush we had planted. sucked.
January 30, 2007 at 5:31 am |
ahh, but when it warms up after it’s been cold a long time, you gain the superhuman ability to wear shorts when its 40 degrees and not be cold! cloud, meet your silver lining.
January 30, 2007 at 6:58 am |
It was 21 degrees here this morning….Ug. It’s coat weather and I hate wearing a coat.
And Dude, you only have 2 ears so why the 3 phones??? Or is a third ear a weird fact you neglected to mention?
And even if you do have 3 ears you wouldn’t be able to talk on all 3 phones at the same time anyway – I mean, we all know you can’t multitask THAT well.
January 30, 2007 at 2:44 pm |
Word about the water rides at amusement parks. (Of course, I’m more worried about what will happen to my hair and makeup. Don’t you dread runny eye-liner?)
January 30, 2007 at 3:21 pm |
I tried that weird things meme. It is hard being that we are so normal and all…..
January 30, 2007 at 4:43 pm |
It is only 15 degrees here. Last friday it was 60. Weather is crazy.
January 30, 2007 at 5:15 pm |
Hope your dinner was yummy and you’re staying warm!
January 30, 2007 at 6:02 pm |
You are a total weirdo. LOL
That special Mexican place?
January 30, 2007 at 7:49 pm |
LOL, thanx for answering so quickly. You should tag people actually but since you’re not a me’mer I’ll excuse you
61!!! – Aren’t you jealous now
(and by the way its night here now, so that is HOT. During the day it goes up to about 88
Good luck with the cold. Its HOT here
Take care of all the cold bits, and try not to work too hard. Stupid thing to say I know, but still. Try to relax a bit will ya?

The OTHER Trish
M’kay, first of all, Sunshine, Canada isn’t all frozen tundra. We just got snow a few days ago. Granted, we’re making up for a late winter with temperatures of -20 right now, but it’s not THAT bad. Some winters, we get into -30 with the wind chill. A lot of places have electrical outlets near their parking spots so we can use block heaters so our cars don’t freeze up. But really, it’s not THAT cold.
Secondly, the street Canada is on is Yonge Street. Longest street in Canada. Actually, it’s the longest continual street in the world, but it’s known by different names as it goes through, including Highway 11, Highway 1, and the TransCanada Highway. There ya go, hon. Little geography lesson for ya. When ya comin’ up for that winter BBQ?
January 31, 2007 at 1:18 pm |
It’s 7 degrees here this morning. Bite me with your 46.
January 31, 2007 at 5:58 pm |
lol.. we had the super cold weather 2 weeks ago. and am glad that ya’ll are getting some of the cold weather now.
though with an impending move in my not too distant future to your general vicinity… i hope the cold weather comes to a quick end for your region. k?
and i’ll have at least 2 cellphones when i move east. one for family & friends in texas.. the other for local stuff.
mexican food is yummy. thanks for the idea for dinner tonight.

Ha, we’ve been warmer than you but I think living on the coast helps but not much because we’ve had lows of 30s. *shivers*
